Eyrleigh and Me Day 3

Today we did not nap well and Eyrleigh was a little cranky, but I am so glad that I have this opportunity to spend the week with her. She eats well, rides in the car well, and she loves to be on the front pack with daddy. I will never forget this week. I do love my little bear very much. BTW here is the latest family picture.

Eyrleigh and Me Week 1

Today Mary Ruth went back to work at Rock Springs, and Helen is coming to take care of Eyrleigh all of February so I am the "fill in mom" for the week.

This works out because even though babies are a ton of work, it is not physically taxing work like moving heavy objects. Sometimes you just need to move a stinky object or two ;)

So far, it is going GREAT! After refusing the bottle in the mornings for the last few weeks, she DID IT! 3oz in 20 minutes. I must admit I did shed a tear, anytime your child has a great milestone like this.

What will the rest of the week bring? Will Eyrleigh continue to be a good girl... Tune is for the next episode of Superdad!!!

Training going well. 6 miles on Sat, 5 on Tuesday. I still have 2 more workouts 5 on Thurs and 6 on Saturday. Then the training is over and its time to taper a week before the race!

The Sweet Snow

Today when I got home from work, I looked at my training calendar and the calendar said, "Run 4 Miles" so I proceeded to change into my cold weather running gear.

It was 37 degrees Fahrenheit and snow had just started falling and right before I left on my run Eyrleigh and Mary Ruth came outside. Mary Ruth was holding Eyrleigh as the snow fell on us. Eyrleigh's first snow! I told Eyrleigh how lucky those few snowflakes were that fell on her little baby cheeks. What a memory!

Then I took off for my run and it snow huge flakes the entire time 4 miles in 32 min 15 seconds. That was fun!

Eyrleigh Meets Her Cousins

On the 9th week we went to Aimee and Lewis' house to see everyone and for Eyrleigh to meet some of her cousins. She met Suzie and her family, Aimee and her family, Beth and her family. We took the Brownie Connection brownies and they were a hit!

On other notes, the Patriots are 1 step closer to the Super Bowl, and I am back to running pretty much normally. Mary Ruth is also running 2.5 miles at a time!

Eyrleigh is 9 weeks old today! It is so great to see parts of her personality come out already.
